KRISTIAN MOREAU
(THEY, THEM, HE, HIM)
Board Member, Secretary
Kristian is a disabled, nonbinary individual with a bachelor's degree in Communication focusing in Film, Television, and Digital Production and a minor in History. They realized that they were bisexual as a preteen and that they were nonbinary as a young adult. As they discovered themself and openly lived with pride, they have helped many others in finding the opportunity to explore their own queer identities.
Whether it would be patiently explaining what being nonbinary is to someone questioning their own gender, discussing the differences between sexualities with someone who would not judge for even asking the question, or anything else, many of the people that knew Kristian had come to them because they had made themself someone that could be asked these questions.
Kristian has always lived by the mantra of "If you can help someone understand by sharing about yourself, then why shouldn't you?"

JACOB NITCH
(HE, HIM, THEY, THEM)
Coordinator, Board Member
Jake Nitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in English. His journey with Stonewall Speakers began in high school, where he was inspired by Lynn and other advocates, sparking a passion for using his own queer identity to help others explore their own identities and foster understanding with those unfamiliar with LGBTQ+ subjects.
Motivated by this experience, Jake later took on a coordinating role within the organization. Currently, Jake works as a middle school English teacher and serves as a grade-level team lead in the Hartford Public School District, where he fosters an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
At a crossroads in his career, Jake is considering pursuing a master's degree in educational administration, linguistics research, or as a reading specialist. Through his teaching and advocacy, Jake remains committed to combating systemic prejudices and amplifying the voices of those who have yet to be heard.

MICHELLE CUMMINGS
(SHE, HER)
Board Member
Michelle Cummings is a semi-retired business professional who worked in the relocation industry for over 30 years with a variety of skill sets. They came out as a transgender woman lesbian at the beginning of 2020 and has been an active participant with Stonewall Speakers ever since their first public speaking event for the organization on 11/21/21.
They have shared their story with a variety of schools, churches, businesses, organizations, and events. Their primary motivation for doing so is the high rate of suicide in the LGBTQIA community, due to the lack of acceptance many people have, particularly among close family members, for members of the community.
The main reason for it being a lack of knowledge and understanding of why someone is a member of this community. The reality being that we are born this way. I begin all of my speeches by saying "my story starts the summer I turned 10 years old, because that is when I first realized that I was different than all of the other boys".
ANNE TYRRELL
