speaker's bureau comprised of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people and their allies. Our speakers give their hearts, time and travel expenses to help eliminate hate and promote understanding. Speaking engagements generally include two or more panelists and combine personal life stories with a question and answer session. We speak to thousands of youth and adults annually.
OUR HISTORY - The organization was founded in 1988 after the brutal murder of a Wethersfield man, by two high school boys, because the man was gay. The needless loss of life motivated our founders to create a program with the intention of reducing violence and bias against lesbians and gays.
WHO WE'VE ADDRESSED - High Schools &
Junior Highs, Colleges & Universities, Teachers' Groups, Religious Groups, Police Departments, Medical Professionals,
Mental Health Professionals, Peer Counselors, Civic Groups and Radio and Television Audiences.
